How do I choose the right wetsuit thickness?
Selecting the correct wetsuit thickness is essential for comfort and performance in the water. The ideal thickness depends primarily on the water temperature of your regular surfing spots. For warmer summer conditions, a thinner suit (such as a 3/2mm) will provide adequate warmth without restricting movement. For winter surfing or colder waters, you’ll need a thicker suit (5/4mm or 6/5/4mm) with additional features like hoods and sealed seams to retain body heat.
What type of wetsuit construction should I look for?
Different wetsuit models feature various construction technologies suited to specific conditions. Entry-level and summer suits often feature flatlock stitching, which is comfortable but allows some water entry. For colder conditions, look for glued and blindstitched (GBS) seams with critical taping, as these are waterproof and more flexible. Premium models may feature advanced materials like TechnoButter neoprene, which offers exceptional stretch and lightweight performance, allowing you to surf longer with less fatigue.
How should surfwear fit?
Your surfwear should fit snugly but comfortably. A proper fit prevents fabric from shifting or bunching during movement, while features like flat seams and secure waistbands help reduce chafing in the water. For wetsuits specifically, a correct fit is crucial for warmth retention; any fit issues should be resolved before the suit is used, as improper sizing cannot be covered under warranty.
Care & Maintenance
How can I extend the life of my surfwear?
Proper care is essential for maximizing the lifespan of your surfwear. The most important rule is to rinse your gear with cool fresh water immediately after each use, before saltwater, chlorine, or sunscreen residues can dry and degrade the materials. Always hand wash with mild soap and lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid using washing machines, dryers, hot water, harsh detergents, or hanging your suit in direct sunlight, as these can cause shrinkage, fading, and loss of elasticity.
How should I store my surfboard?
Proper storage can significantly extend the life of your surfboard. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat, which can damage the board’s materials. Rinse your board with fresh water after each use to remove salt and sand. When not in use, store it in a padded bag to protect it from dings and scratches, and periodically check for any damage that needs repair.

What is covered under warranty?
Our products come with a warranty covering manufacturing defects in stitching, materials, and workmanship. To make a warranty claim, you will need your original proof of purchase and clear photographs of the damage. It is best to contact us as soon as you notice any potential defect.
What is not covered under warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from regular use. Specific exclusions typically include fading from sun exposure, damage from harsh detergents or chemicals, and damage resulting from misuse or improper care. Additionally, any repairs or alterations performed by anyone other than the manufacturer or an authorized repair partner will void the warranty. Home repairs, such as re-gluing seams or patching with tape, are also not covered.
What should I do if my product has a defect?
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact our support team immediately with your order details and clear pictures of the damage. Our warranty department will evaluate the issue, and if it’s covered, we will arrange for repair, replacement, or a refund at our discretion.
